We offer email, in-app messaging, location-based notifications, SMS, What's App, and WiFi.
SMS marketing is the practice of sending promotional or transactional messages to customers via text message (Short Message Service). It’s a fast, direct, and highly effective way for businesses to reach customers on their mobile devices with personalized offers, updates, reminders, and more..
You can send informational, promotional and conversational content.
Consent may vary upon on the type of message content exchanged with a consumer. If it is a one-time program, consent is not required. For instance, a consumer texts a keyword to a short code or 10 digit-long-code to get the current temperature, consent isn't required. If your program is promotional or recurring, then yes, the consumer give express written consent.
Depending upon the circumstances, a consumer might demonstrate opt-in consent to receive messaging traffic through several mechanisms, including but not limited to:
● Entering a telephone number through a website;
● Clicking a button on a mobile webpage;
● Sending a message from the Consumer’s mobile device that contains an advertising keyword;
● Initiating the text message exchange in which the Message Sender replies to the Consumer only with responsive information;
● Signing up at a point-of-sale (POS) or other Message Sender on-site location; or
● Opting-in over the phone using interactive voice response (IVR) technology.
Once the consumer has initially opted-in, the platform then sends the consumer a double confirmation text message asking them to confirm their opt-in.
Yes, you'll need a short code (5-6 digit dedicated or random code), a toll-free number or 10-digit-long-code (10-DLC).
A 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) is a standard 10-digit phone number designed specifically for businesses to send text messages through Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging. It allows businesses to text customers from internet-connected applications—like marketing automation platforms—while using a local, recognizable number. 10DLCs are approved for high-volume messaging, making them ideal for campaigns, alerts, and other business communications at scale.
Yes, all businesses are required to register their 10DLC number with both the carrier and a messaging service provider to comply with industry regulations and prevent messages from being flagged or blocked. The good news? Mobilozophy takes care of the entire registration process for you, ensuring your messages are delivered reliably and compliantly.
A random or dedicated short code is a 5-6 digital number code that is assigned to an individual business.
Businesses can lease a dedicated short code from the Common Short Administration (CSCA) or Mobilozophy can assist in acquiring you a code.
You have two options:
Random Short Code: A randomly assigned 5–6 digit number (e.g., 72849). Starting at $1,000/month.
Vanity Short Code: A custom number that spells a word or brand (e.g., 64537 = SMILE). Starting at$1,500/month.
A one-time setup/processing fee will be applied.
Once your short code is leased, Mobilozophy submits a campaign application to the wireless carriers. This includes:
● Program sponsor info
● Description of how the short code will be used
● Compliance with messaging guidelines and regulations
Once approved, the carriers (like AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) will activate your short code on their networks—so you can begin sending messages to your subscribers.
